The January transfer window is typically a time of feverish rumour and possible big-money deals. Several notable players find themselves linked with transfers away from their present clubs. Here is a look at some of the key figures that are poised to be changing clubs in January.

Antoine Semenyo

Despite Ghana's failure to reach the Africa Cup of Nations, which has kept the forward in contention, reports suggest a significant move is close. This Bournemouth attacker has a contract with a £65 million release clause active for a brief window at the start of the month. Recent developments indicate the Premier League champions look to have won the race for his signature. Former interested parties such as Tottenham and Chelsea reportedly have moved on to other targets, potentially opening the door for clubs like Liverpool or Manchester United to make a late move.

M. Guéhi

The England defender has excel for Palace despite a previous transfer to Anfield falling through. As his contract due to expire in the close season, January is the club's last opportunity to secure a fee for their skipper. Villa were initially linked as a potential destination, but that option currently seems off. Instead, interest from Saudi Arabia and Turkey are reportedly showing curiosity in the keeper.

This proven English centre-forward has continued finding the net frequently in Saudi Arabia. Coming back to the Premier League might boost his fading chances of making the national World Cup.
